Donate to the PPA Relief Fund

The mission of the Denver Police Protective Association Relief Fund, a registered 501(c)(3) organization, is to raise funds and provide financial assistance to active and retired police and public safety personnel, locally and nationally, and their families suffering hardships due to illness, disease or injury.  We also provide scholarship opportunities for active PPA members, and their families (sons, daughters, nieces, nephews).OUR HISTORY

The Denver Police Protective Association Relief Fund was developed in 2003 by the Denver Police Protective Association and its Board of Directors exclusively to support law enforcement and public safety servants in their time of need. It began with the vision of helping numerous officers facing great financial losses through the failure of the Denver Fire and Police Health Fund, leaving many without the means to repay large medical debts. The focus of the fund has grown since then along with the demands. It has helped personnel by getting immediate daily supplies after losing their homes and belongings to fire while waiting on insurance payments to assisting a widow who struggles with her loss. Today, the fund has helped several first responders across the nation who have found themselves in complicated situations.

While we always hope there are no critical incidents resulting in injury to those who serve our community by providing public safety, the reality of public safety service demands recognition of the many dangers inherent to members of these professions. In addition, those in this field are not exempt from illness, disease or other situations, which create hardships on them and their families.

HOW YOU CAN HELP

The Denver Police Protective Association Relief Fund (Relief Fund) has been developed so that organizations and concerned citizens may demonstrate their support for our public servants via tax deductible donations. Many public servants can benefit from the support of the DPPA Relief Fund, but we currently lack the funds to sustain the daily demands. We need your help! Please consider being a donor today; through your contribution, many more “first responders” can receive assistance during difficult times. One hundred percent of your tax-deductible 501(c)(3) donation goes directly toward the PPA Relief Fund which may make a difference in the life of our public safety personnel.

To make a tax-deductible contribution, please send a check made payable to the Denver Police Protective Association Relief Fund (DPPA Relief Fund) or call for more details. To pay by credit card, please contact us at the number below, or through our PayPal account in this website.
